It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The top summits have already been conquered.

We're talking about the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with an additional six T20 titles, and once went over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a side that has won it all.

It needed up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

It is hard for their batsmen to hold a record if never given the possibility.

Ultimately, the outcome of Australia allowing 330 runs was skipper Alyssa Healy being given a platform to create her most recent brilliance.

What is certain is this hundred was far harder to anticipate.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the assurance to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if necessary, we are confident we can do it."

Those words will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this World Cup should hear.

During the last week a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.
